What Is Temporal Lift?
Temporal lift, also known as temporal brow lift, is a cosmetic surgical procedure performed to correct drooping at the outer part of the eyebrows, improve the sad or tired appearance around the eyes, and tighten the loose tissue in the temple area. It is often combined with procedures such as facelift and eyelid surgery to achieve a younger and more dynamic appearance in the upper face. We do not perform temporal lift surgeries; however, we provide guidance to help patients connect with proper planning and experienced surgeons.
How Is Temporal Lift Performed?
The temporal lift can be performed under local or general anesthesia. The procedure usually takes about 30 minutes. The incision is hidden within the hairline, so no visible scar is left. Patients are usually discharged the same day. A follow-up examination is done on the fifth day. Dissolvable sutures are used, so suture removal is not required. Showering is allowed from the seventh day, and the effects of the procedure usually become evident by the end of the first month.
Who Is Suitable For Temporal Lift?
The temporal lift is suitable for individuals with drooping at the outer eyebrows, tired or sad expression around the eyes, and loose skin in the temple area. Although most commonly preferred for patients aged 40–50, it can also be performed at earlier or later ages depending on skin quality and needs. The goal is to maintain a natural brow position while achieving a more dynamic and aesthetic facial expression.
